At the beginning of the month, I hosted a party for my workout friends at Core Pilates. I shared a few details on my podcast episode here. It was a beautiful day, filled with wonderful company, delicious food, fresh flowers, and great conversation! What more can you ask for when throwing a backyard garden party?
We served a charcuterie, greek salad, and pizzas – Cheese, Margherita, Prosciutto, and Prosciutto & Fig with balsamic glaze. Followed by an Italian Olive Oil Lemon cake with Berries & Mascarpone. I couldn’t have done any of this without the help of Ray Ray’s Catering.
I also figured a flowy linen white dress would fit the occasion well, and it was very comfortable! Similar items linked below.

My dad and I created a spring skewer with melon, fresh mozzarella, and prosciutto. Not only pretty – but we loved the combo of flavors! We also used blood oranges, which were kind of difficult to peel but looked pretty as a garnish. There was a theme with the figs, and I learned fig butter is actually just figs in jelly/jam form, no added sugar. We added it to the base of the fig and prosciutto pizza that I’d been wanting to make for a long time, and the balsamic glaze from Trader Joe’s was a perfect pairing! What items do you love to see at a spring garden party? I’d love to hear from you!
