I think I’m using the term “statement” loosely here!
Annie Costello Brown earrings are kind of like this piece of artwork by my bestie, lets call them… EPIC!
I first spotted these gorgeous earrings watching my guilty pleasure tv show of the summer – DYNASTY! I initially tuned in for the wardrobe (by Meredith) and I got hooked… isn’t that how it usually happens? It’s set in Atlanta, fab #girlbosses, and scandalous (cat)fights EVERY episode. I mean- how could I not see it coming?!
Anywho- I’m pretty simple with my jewelry, I love classics… but every once in awhile I like to change it up! Here are a few tips for when I do:
1. Let the statement earrings shine alone! No other jewelry or clothing item should steal the thunder.
2. Pin your hair back or go for an updo to make sure those earrings aren’t hiding. Or pin one side of your hair and play a little peek-a-boo!
3. Choose the color of earring that compliments your outfit, not necessarily to match perfectly. It’s an understated POP! Check out this color wheel to see what I mean or the pic below….
