Video | How to make a “kicked up” Charcuterie Board

Food

Another one of Ray Ray’s FAQs:

How do you make your food equal parts beautiful and delicious?!

We put together a quick video to give you a behind the scenes look at the making of a charcuterie board. When our family gets together – you can usually find us hovered over this very table, laughing and chatting while munching on delicious food. If I’m being honest – it’s my favorite thing to do! So… pull up a chair at our family table and stay awhile, we hope you enjoy!

Ray Ray’s hints & tips to “kick it up”

  • Use different shaped containers inside your tray to add depth and dimension. Ray Ray says the tray is your canvas and the food is your palette. Have fun with your creation!
  • Think about the colors in your charcuterie, a red strawberry can add a fun pop. Thank you nature!
  • If you have more than one cheese to use, try cutting each into different shapes. This way, your guests know it is a different type.
  • Fill in all your empty spaces- Ray Ray used pistachios in the video.
  • Little details go a long way – like a hollow bell pepper used as a bowl for hummus, fried lobster ravioli, or adding grilled shrimp.

Some of these tips may require a little bit of extra prep work, but it’s worth it! Let us know if you make your own charcuterie board, we’d love to see or if you’d like Ray Ray to create one just for you – give us a call!

We’ve added behind the scenes and a few other charcuterie board pics below, no two boards are the same. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
