A few months ago, I wrote about a PIVOT I felt coming. I thought it had to do with this website and a possible new direction I would be taking. Little did I know… this upcoming PIVOT was actually more like an about face!
On my flight home from my birthday trip in Puerto Rico, I started to brainstorm new ideas for AshleighDeane.com. I had this wonderful feeling, I was energized and excited! However, I felt conflicted. I’ve always had ideas and dreams for where I could take this website, but haven’t dedicated the time I’ve needed to really focus and put my goals into action.
I love my teaching job, as I mentioned in my PIVOT post. I teach to make a difference and feel satisfaction that my efforts are helping someone. But… I’ve also had this feeling in the back of my mind that there could be another way to help people that may bring me more happiness and help me reach more of my goals. So much so, that the universe has made it abundantly clear to me that there is no better time to chase that feeling… than right now. I’m scared, I’m nervous, I’m excited, but most of all… I feel a purpose!
I’m leaving my teaching job, going back to the news, and I’ll have more time to work on AshleighDeane.com. I can’t wait to continue sharing more with you, thank you for reading, following along, and sharing your stories with me!
