PERK Energy - Pumpkin Waffles

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole egg substitute 3 egg whites or 3/8 cup (6T) liquid egg whites if desired
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop Perk Energy Original Pumpkin Butter Pecan Latte
  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides - unflavored collagen powder
  • 1/4 cup almond flour substitute oat, coconut, or other desired flour
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Optional
  • 1/8 cup chopped walnuts substitute nut of choice

Equipment

  • 1 Large bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • measuring spoons/cups
  • 1 Waffle Iron

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg.
  2. Add the vanilla extract to the bowl and whisk again until well combined.
  3. Add Perk, Vital Proteins, almond flour, pumpkin pie spice, and baking powder to the bowl, continue whisking until fully integrated.
  4. Scoop the batter into the center of your hot, greased waffle pan.
  5. Depending on waffle pan, cook until sides brown and waffle lifts easily. (approx. 3 minutes)
